Nurture Catholic Men's Spirituality
in Chicago Year Round.

Since 2004, Catholic Men Chicago Southland (CMCS) started as an inspiration of a Catholic Laman and a Catholic Deacon, who shared thieir vision with their local Vicar – Bishop Joseph Perry.

And since 2009, the Catholic Chicago Men Blog (CCMB) has reminded men and helped them to do what is in their power to do, namely, be holy and courageous men, to improve their marriages, be better fathers to their children, grow in virtue, serve the needs of others more generously, be active participants in their parishes, and be better citizens.

The blog now has made such an impact like never before that it has become time to fund it lke never before - through individual suppport.

In other words, CMCS has a practical way, through our annual Forum, of evangelizing Catholic men young and old, and their families, of helping them to understand what the culture often rejects – how men and women should relate to one another in complementary ways and how important husbands and fathers are to children – every single day.

The blog is designed then to support the Forum and further the CMCS mission, to help foster Catholic Men in personal holiness, to make Jesus Christ the center of our daily lives in the Chicago Southland – and for all Catholic men in the Archdiocese of Chicago who are not able to participate in the Forum.

Together, with this mailing list, provide encouragement and support for “Living the Goodness of a Catholic Man”, as well as Catholic information and updates and articles as it relates to the CMCS Vision: To Nurture Catholic Men’s Spirituality in the Chicago Southland and beyond.

We can’t do this critically important work without you!

Would you consider helping more Catholic Men grow in their love and understanding of God through a gift to (CCMB) today?

Your gift to CCMB will not only help us reach men with original Catholic articles, curated by Bishop Perry and the CMCS-Team, but it will ultimately:

  •     Continue the experience from the annual CMCS Forum, to help us to make life adjustments that can be felt for three generations.
  •     Solid input to men across the Archdiocese on how we can live faithfully the implications of our baptism and discipleship in Christ for these times.
  •     Help Catholic Men to be the priest of our household and deepen personal devotion to the Sacraments
  •     Provide hope and restoration of marriages and families, and live out the Bishop Perry’s Virtues of a Catholic Man with Jesus Christ and His Word.

Don’t delay. Make your gift to CCMB online below or use this mail-in form (PDF File).

Thank you!  God reward you for what you do for others!

Our Vision: Nurturing Catholic Men's Spirituality in Chicago Southland.

Mission: Catholic Men Chicago Southland (CMCS) fosters Catholic Men in personal holiness, to make Jesus Christ the center of our daily lives.
CMCS is a Catholic Apostolate of Most Reverend Joseph N. Perry of the Archdiocese of Chicago.  Executive Director, Frank J Casella

“CMCS has been a great help in my walk with Christ on a daily basis.  I am surrounded by secular surroundings everyday and CMCS brings me “home.”  This group of men keep me grounded and express charity and humility, which is not easy to find these days.  The opportunity to listen to the wisdom of Bishop Perry is always enlightening and helps me in my growth in understanding the beauty of the Catholic faith.”

“My benefit from CMCS comes from the community of men I gather with and, our shared, interests, desires, and struggles with leading a Christian life.  Our community helps me realize that I am not alone as I strive to be a servant of God.  In this age where we race from chore to chore, and responsibility to responsibility CMCS provides me an opportunity to take time and think about God.  A time to step back to think about where I am at, where I have been, and where I want to be in God’s eyes when I enter eternity.  Of course the wisdom and guidance provided to us through the words of Bishop Perry are as the commercial says ………….. PRICELESS.”
