.... A note of thanks and gratitude.

Over the past few years, and even during the difficult and often confusing months of this past year, Catholic Men Chicago Southland (CMCS) has experienced steady and consistent financial support from you, the readers, and event attendees as well.

In addition to the gracious donations—and they really have exceeded our expectations—we’ve received many notes of encouragement and thanks. They are deeply appreciated. Readership and resource engagement continues to grow steadily, and I know that much of that is due to readers sharing CMCS content and events by e-mail and social media.

Thank you for this support.

We do not take it for granted. Nor do we take your time and trust—and prayers!—for granted. There are many options for information and spiritual growth, and there is often little time to read and contemplate. Frankly, I don’t acknowledge this often enough, so consider this an overdue note of humble thanks and sincere gratitude.

Your support -- via prayer, encouragement, giving -- not only help keep CMCS running and growing, they uplift and encourage us in the work the CMCS-Team does here at CMCS.

And, in addition to updating the website / blog design as usual this time of year, and sending out the weekly articles and inspiration, we're now investing in producing an online interview series on manhood and ministry, and organizing a virtual event for November, before meeting in-person once again in Spring 2022 for Bishop Perry's Men's Forum.

We’re able to offer free online resources to Catholic men in the Chicago Southland and around the world because people like you give financially what they think is fair. We do this because we think the ability for men to grow in holiness is fundamental, and we think everyone deserves access to world class information.

By allowing donors and members of our apostolate community to pick their own gift makes sure everyone can access the tools they need (without subscribers, membership fees, or a pay wall) as Jesus did with His own ministry on earth.

The CMCS-Team serves all of this with passion and pride – for you. And while we are not in this to “make money”, like all Catholic apostolates we need to pay the bills to keep doing debt free what we do – in an ethical way.

Frank J Casella,

CMCS Cofounder & Executive Director

Catholic Men Chicago Southland Apostolate

P.S. I’d like to wish all fathers a very happy Father’s Day. God has given you the tremendous responsibility of helping your children develop a self-image based on Scripture. No matter how old your children are, it’s never too late to be a strong encourager to them.

*CMCS is an Illinois State recognized nonprofit, and is not an IRS-certified charity. No revenue is generated by advertising, and funded only by individual support. Operation of CMCS is debt free, and administration is done by the CMCS-Team who gain no financial benefit from their engagement for this apostolate. Donations over expenses contribute towards part-time work of the director.
