Note: After 19 years of this apostolate, and 14 years of this blog, we’re used to receiving donations of various sizes and kinds: one-time gifts, monthlies, gift cards to Amazon or Walmart, one donor even sent coffee to my house. At the recent Men's Forum, I encouraged a group of the men to think about how we send you a weekly offering, 12 months a year, without fail, every Thursday. And one donor afterword promptly sent in $52 - a dollar for each week of the year. That is about the average donation, by the way (and we saw a record of donations for the Forum Appeal). I’m grateful for the recognition that inflation has hit everyone, even Catholic Men Chicago Southland. All of which is just to say that we welcome any and all help. Readers and CMCS Men often enough apologize that they aren't in a position to do more. No need to apologize. I always say that prayer in numbers can be even more powerful and impacting. By each of us doing what we can, we’ve been able to survive the ups and down of the past almost two decades, and – God willing – still have some great days ahead.
