Weekly Fall Appeal Update
Dear Donors and CMCS-Men,
As the sun sets on our Fall Appeal, we find ourselves in a pivotal moment, a call to action that resonates deeply within our mission. Imagine the profound impact we can continue to have on Catholic men in the Archdiocese of Chicago, guiding them to understand, live, and share their faith.

We are grateful for those who have already stepped forward, answering this divine invitation with their prayers and donations. But the journey doesn’t end here; if you’ve felt the tug to lend your support, now is the time to act. Picture the countless souls whose lives could be transformed through Christ because of your generosity.

With a meaningful one-time gift—no matter the amount—you can be a beacon of hope and change. Together, let us continue this sacred mission and illuminate the path for many more to follow. Your contribution can make all the difference today.
CMCS has been a staple in the Chicago Catholic Community for 20 years, and we know that many people would miss what we do if we stopped providing our events and online ministry, and we thank you for your continued support.

So, we're not about to stop, because everything is about to change:

+ As we approach 2025, marking our 21st year, we are excited to announce a new era for CMCS! The number of men joining us continues to rise. In these challenging times, where the adversary is sowing division and confusion within Catholic families, men are actively seeking the support and encouragement they need.

+ With our new Vicar, we are poised for a fresh direction. We are actively collaborating with Very Rev. Larry Sullivan, our Episcopal Liaison, to shape the vision he has for CMCS as he takes on this important apostolate.

+ There is a new video or podcast ministry, as some men only want to engage with video/audio, while others only with the written word.

.... Plus, the new O nline Men's Forum next week, and other online meetings to connect us across the Vicariate / Archdiocese. This, in addition to the live Men's Forum in Spring 2025.

We are in discussions to establish new Hispanic and Polish ministries, each led by a CMCS Man. Keeping these ministries distinct and focused is the appropriate direction to take. It's a lot of work, we'll keep you updated.

+ We are on the cusp of new affiliated ministries of CMCS, starting with the Catholic Men Chicago Edgewater (CMCE).

+ And much more new things to come!

Please remember to keep the Catholic Men Chicago Southland team and our mission in your prayers. We rely on collective prayer for our strength and protection.

We assure you that you will remain in our prayers as well, as we acknowledge the significant sacrifices you make to support and sustain our mission. Let us continue to safeguard one another through prayer!

If you have already contributed to our Fall Appeal, we sincerely thank you for your generous support.

Time is short, we request your response today: donate.cmcsmen.net

With sincere thanks for believing in this mission – to God be the glory!

Once again, as you consider your ability to give, please take into consideration:

  1. We have never had financial reserves: CMCS Apostolate / CMCSMen.net is entirely user-supported, trusting day by day in God's providence and depending totally on the generosity of the people we serve.
  2. We do not seek to raise more funds than we need: our resources are distributed absolutely free of charge, reaching thousands men around the archdiocese each year—at a cost of only pennies per person served.
  3. We are committed to keeping costs at a minimum: The CMCS Team is all volunteer, and the director earns no full-time salary, and no rent or utilities costs are incurred as we utilize home offices, keeping our annual budget less than $4,000!

This campaign determines that we have the means to continue through January 2025.
