Vision: To Cultivate the Spiritual Growth of Catholic Men in the Chicago Southland
Fall Appeal Stewardship Update
Dear Donors and CMCS-Men,
Time is short in our Fall Appeal, we find ourselves at 45% of our goal. We are grateful to our three generous supporters thus far; but we still need your support! It is crucial that we raise the $800.00 goal to function debt free through January 2025 – every donation, large or small, does really help get us there. Please consider donating today!  And we need you to pray with us that God inspires many more people to support this work of His!

CMCS has been a staple in the Chicago Catholic Community for 20 years, and we know that many people would miss what we do if we stopped providing our events and online ministry, and we thank you for your continued support.

So, we're not about to stop, because everything is about to change:

+ A new generation of CMCS as 2025 will be our 21st Year! Our numbers of men keep growing!

+ There is a new Vicar as you know Bishop Perry has retired (though he will always be a Co-founder of CMCS).

+ There is thus a new direction as we continue to meet with Very Rev. Larry Sullivan about what CMCS will look like, as he is now our Episcopal Liaison, and CMCS his apostolate.

+ There is a new video or podcast ministry, as some men only want to engage with video/audio, while others only with the written word.

.... Plus, the new Online Men's Forum this Fall, and other online meetings to connect us across the Vicariate / Archdiocese. This, in addition to the live Men's Forum in Spring 2025.

+ There will be a new Hispanic and Polish ministry as we talk with a CMCS Man to lead each of these important ministries, and keeping them separate and focused is the right way forward.

+ We are on the cusp of new affiliated ministries of CMCS, starting with the Catholic Men Chicago Edgewater (CMCE)

+ And much more new things to come!

Please keep the Catholic Men Chicago Southland team and mission in your prayers. We need prayer in numbers to keep up our strength and protection.

We promise to keep you in our prayers too, we understand as well the great sacrifices you make to engage and to keep our mission operational!

Together, let us continue to protect each other with prayer!

If you have already sent in your donation for our Fall Appeal, we thank you for your generous support.

Time is short, we request your response today: donate.cmcsmen.net

With sincere thanks for believing in this mission – to God be the glory!

Once again, as you consider your ability to give, please take into consideration:

  1. We have never had financial reserves: CMCS Apostolate / CMCSMen.net is entirely user-supported, trusting day by day in God's providence and depending totally on the generosity of the people we serve.
  2. We do not seek to raise more funds than we need: our resources are distributed absolutely free of charge, reaching thousands men around the archdiocese each year—at a cost of only pennies per person served.
  3. We are committed to keeping costs at a minimum: The CMCS Team is all volunteer, and the director earns no full-time salary, and no rent or utilities costs are incurred as we utilize home offices, keeping our annual budget less than $4,000!

This campaign determines that we have the means to continue through January 2025.
