Announcement:

Bishop Bartosic has chosen Frank J. Casella, Executive Director of CMCS, as the recipient of the prestigious Bishop Quarter Award.  Bishop William Quarter, the first Bishop of Chicago, placed his trust in the Lord who provides for the foundation of the Church in every age. This award is bestowed upon an individual Catholic whose trust in the Lord has guided him in service for the benefit of His Church.

The award is presented annually to a lay Catholic who exemplifies dedicated service to the ministries of the vicariates or Archdiocese of Chicago, with only one award granted per Vicariate each year.

Frank accepted this award on behalf of the CMCS Team members, both presently and who've come and gone over the years, as well as the hundreds of men who have engaged with the Annual Men's Forum and online ministry.

CMCS Men recently joined 40 Days for Life when Bishop Bartosic visited the Flossmoor Planned Parenthood on Thursday, October 9th, to lead a Rosary for Life.  If you have never participated in a 40 Days for Life vigil, this is a great opportunity to see one example of how prayer, fasting and peaceful public witness is done during a campaign.

Thank you to those of you who let us know that you were praying remotely because you had to be at work or someplace else. God bless you for that!

It was a beautiful morning and Bishop Mark Bartosic was a great inspiration to all present.  To Jesus through Mary! 🙏
