Vision: To Foster Catholic Men's Spirituality in Chicago Southland
A CMCS Man Shares His Diaconate Journey
By Darrin Bourret
CMCS - Christ Is Our Center

Dear Brothers of the CMCS Group. My name is Darrin Bourret and I’m a retired Chicago Police officer and currently at two Holy Martyr's parish. I'm writing to you all to let you know that I have accepted Gods calling and have entered into the Diaconate formation Aspire stage. The Lord works in mysterious ways and I fought this calling for over two years yet it kept getting stronger. Yesterday was my first class and I learned so much mostly how to pray. Frank had ask me to share thoughts that would help catholic men and all I can say is that “Follow Gods calling” whether its a priest, Deacon or lay ministry the church needs us.  Thank you Frank and my brothers in CMCS Group. Please keep me and my Cohorts in your prayers as we take this journey.

God Bless
Darrin Bourret
