ANGIOSTOP: Block Angiogenesis Early to Stop Unwanted Growth
CHI HEALTH LETTER January 9, 2015
Four years ago, Dr. Michael Li, MD (President, Angiogenesis Foundation), presented a lecture on how angiogenesis is the hallmark of every type of cancer and that blocking it early may be the key to fighting cancer.

He further explains that cancer starts out as microscopic tumors in our bodies. According to autopsy studies, 40% of women over 40 have microscopic breast tumors. About 50% of men between 50 and 60 years old have microscopic prostate tumors. And what’s even more amazing is that 100% of people over 70 years old have microscopic thyroid tumors. These microscopic tumors make the body produce many types of growth factors or “fertilizers” that stimulate angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation). When angiogenesis is triggered, these tumors can grow exponentially up to 16,000 times in 6 to 8 days!

Because these tumors can grow very fast with angiogenesis, we need to stop this growth as quickly as we can.

Angiostop (Sea Cucumber Extract): Natural Angiogenesis Inhibitor

There are many angiogenesis inhibitor drugs in the market today. Dr. Li presented previous studies showing that anti-angiogenic therapy with targeted drugs is 70% to 100% effective for kidney cancer, colorectal cancer, myeloma and gastrointestinal stromal tumors. However, it only showed modest results in terms of liver, lung and breast cancer and glioblastoma (Figure 1). Breast cancer expresses the growth factors VEGFR, EGFR and FGFR. Brain cancer expresses VEGFR and PDGFR while both lung and prostate cancer expresses all 4 growth factors, VEGFR, PDGFR, EGFR and FGFR (Table 1). All these growth factors need to be inhibited in order for anti-angiogenic therapy to have better results.

Angiostop is a special sea cucumber extract that naturally inhibits angiogenesis by blocking 4 different types of growth factor receptors: VEGFR, EGFR, FGFR and PDGFR (Table 1). For many years (since 2004), we have already known how effective it was for inhibiting angiogenesis.

In Figure 1, for example, the anti-angiogenic therapy that they used had modest results for breast cancer most likely because it only targeted the typical VEGFR. Many third-party studies have shown that sea cucumb
er (Angiostop) is effective for 6 different types of cancer (and many more):

  • Inhibits human BREAST CANCER by 95%
  • Suppresses LUNG CANCER by 88%
  • Inhibits MELANOMA cells by 90%
  • Inhibits LIVER cancer cells by 95%
  • Reduces PROSTATE CARCINOMA growth
  • Induces apoptosis in PANCREATIC CANCER cells
Multiple targets make Angiostop a more effective angiogenesis inhibitor and you will see why in these case reports.

CASE REPORTS

  • F. Akbarpour, MD from California, has a 70-year-old female patient with breast cancer. She underwent chemotherapy and took Herceptin, a monoclonal antibody HER2 (EGFR) inhibitor. Despite the treatments, the cancer still metastasized to the liver, lung and bones. Then Dr. Akbarpour added Angiostop and Myomin. Two years later, her cancer was significantly suppressed. This case illustrates the need for targeting cancer through multiple pathways. The addition of Angiostop was beneficial for the patient because it inhibits EGFR, VEGFR and FGFR, the growth factors overexpressed in breast, liver, lung and bone cancer.

  • Dr. Akbarpour reports another case of an 81 y/o/f patient with breast cancer. She had a mastectomy but the cancer recurred as angiosarcoma in the breast. She was given the drug, Sutent, but it had no effect. The dose was doubled but still no apparent effect. Then the Sutent dose was reduced and Angiostop was added. After 4 months, the angiosarcoma cleared. Again, it should be noted that breast cancer expresses VEGFR, EGFR, and FGFR. Sutent only inhibits VEGFR that’s why it had no effect. Adding Angiostop, which inhibits all 3 growth factors, made the therapy effective, clearing the angiosarcoma.

  • R. Abraham, MD from California, has a male patient in his 60s with kidney cancer. Sutent was also given, which reduced his tumor to only 2cm. Then he added Angiostop and Revivin. After 3-4 months, the tumor reduced to 1cm. After a year, the tumor cleared. In kidney cancer, VEGFR, PDGFR and FGFR are overexpressed. Sutent inhibits VEGFR and PDGFR only. With the addition of Angiostop, the suppression was more complete.

  • K. P., a 57-year-old female from California, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in 2007. Both her brother and sister were also diagnosed with lung cancer but both died within 2-3 years. They used chemo, radiation and Tarceva. K.P., has been on alternative therapies. In July 2013, she had breathing difficulties and felt weak so she was given OxyPower. It helped her breathing and made her feel energized. In Jul 2013, she started taking Angiostop, Revivin, Myomin, Reishi Spore and Asparagus Extract with Vitamin C. In Nov 2013, she added Tarceva (EGFR inhibitor). Her lung tumors decreased in size (Table 2). As of Dec 2014, she is doing well. Her phone number is (562) 698-9161.

  • *In K.P.’s case, using Angiostop before Tarceva increased effectiveness because of two things: (1) Tarceva only inhibits EGFR while Angiostop inhibits all 4 growth factors (VEGFR, EGFR, FGFR and PDGFR) expressed in lung cancer and (2) Tarceva works for only about 9 months then resistance develops. This would explain why it didn’t work for her brother and sister after a while. But when taken with Angiostop, the combination works long-term. Furthermore, estradiol also plays a role in lung and thyroid cancer so the addition of Myomin, an aromatase (and estradiol) reducer, addresses both conditions.
  • A. Sayler, CN from Florida, reports on Simi L., a 66 y/o/f patient with pancreatic cancer who had tremendous reduction in tumor size 8 months after starting Angiostop, Revivin and Reishi Spore Extract. Fifteen months later, her tumor size remains stable (Table 3). Simi’s phone number is (813) 787-0366. Like in lung cancer, all 4 growth factors are expressed in pancreatic cancer that is why Angiostop has been effective in stabilizing Simi’s tumor.

  • M. Guevara, MD from California, recently shared a report regarding a 50-year-old male patient with prostate cancer with a Gleason score of 7. He took Angiostop, Myomin, Prosta Chi and Revivin (3 TID each). His PSA reduced to 4.4 in Sep 2014 (Table 4). Now he feels so much better.

  • R. Rozich, DC from IL has a 54 y/o/f patient diagnosed with ovarian cancer in Feb 2012. Her CA.125 then was 427. She started taking Angiostop, Myomin and Revivin right away. A month later, her CA.125 reduced to 190. In March 2012, she had surgery and underwent chemotherapy for 6 months. She still continued with Angiostop and Myomin. Her CA.125 reduced to 4 (Table 5). Her number is (815) 744-1511.

  • Nov 2014 – I. Mena, DO from CA, has a 61 y/o/f patient with brain cancer. The cancer has been steadily growing. Then she started taking Angiostop, Revivin, Myomin, Reishi Spore Extract and Asparagus Extract in December 2013. On October 23, 2014, she reports that her intercranial mass has stabilized. It remains unchanged at 1.7 x 0.9cm(2).
ANGIOSTOP APPLICABLE TO MOST TYPES OF CANCER

Because angiogenesis is a hallmark of most types of cancer, Angiostop is beneficial in most cases. It can be used singly or in combination with other therapies, just like in the cases above. Unlike chemotherapy or radiation which attacks both normal and cancer cells and therefore has many side effects, Angiostop is a targeted therapy. It only addresses cells that overexpress growth factors, leaving healthy cells intact and making it very well tolerated.

In conclusion:

Take Angiostop as quickly as you can as soon as you have any suspicion of a growth. If you suddenly lose weight or have any nodules, dysplasia or polyps, you might want to go for a biopsy, colonoscopy, endoscopy, surgery or any type of invasive procedure to check for abnormalities. But while consulting with a doctor and waiting for these procedures, you can start taking Angiostop right away. Keep in mind that cancer cells can grow exponentially and quickly triggered by angiogenic stimulators so you need to also quickly suppress angiogenesis. In any type of surgery, the healing process triggers the release of angiogenic stimulators. If there are any cancer cells, then this angiogenesis can trigger growth.

If cancer is already present, add Angiostop to your therapy. Inhibiting multiple growth factors can help to completely suppress angiogenesis and provide better results.
