Remove Heavy Metals and Avoid Angioplasty/Bypass Surgery
Do you have red or black spots under your tongue and an earlobe crease? If you do, you have a high risk for heart disease and may have to undergo heart surgery (angioplasty or bypass) eventually.
Red or black spots under the tongue (Figure 1) signify heavy metal toxicity. On the nails, heavy metal toxicity can manifest as black- or blue-colored nails.
As a side note, if you are starting to have memory loss and dementia, consider heavy metal toxicity. You can use the above markers or have a hair analysis to confirm it. Besides heart disease and dementia, heavy metals like lead, mercury, cadmium, aluminum, etc. can also cause cancer, developmental and reproductive problems, and organ damage.
If you already have some of these markers and have an ear crease (a strong indicator of heart disease), there is a high chance that you may have heart disease.
For cardiovascular health particulary, heavy metals are known to cause inflammation, oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, vascular damage, plaque, blood clots and more. If this can be controlled, angioplasty and other heart procedures can be avoided. Besides, about 38% of angioplasty procedures have been found to have "uncertain" benefits (Reference:
JAMA. 2011;306(1):53-61). Furthermore, those who undergo open heart surgery have a 5% chance of death within 30 days of the procedure (Reference:
NEJM. 2011;364:1607-16).
