FEATURED STORIES
A 57-year-old female from California share that when she had menopause at 50, she was given bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). She’s been using it since then. Now she’s developed a thick endometrium. In September 2014, she had sudden heavy bleeding but it stopped after a few days. Three months later, in December 2014, she again had heavy bleeding which lasted for 45 days. Her doctor had given her different hormones to stop the bleeding but none of them worked. Then she was given Myomin and she reported that her bleeding stopped after 3 days.
K. D., 47-year-old female from California, has adenomyosis. She’s had constant menstrual bleeding and endometrial pain for more than 7 years. Then she started taking Angiostop, Myomin and Chi-F. After 2 months, her pain alleviated and her menstrual bleeding cleared. Now she continues to take Myomin and Chi-F.
N. Khozin, MD from New York, has a 46-year-old female patient with a history of abnormal uterine bleeding. She also had a 3-cm cyst in the left ovary. She usually has long periods, typically lasting for 20 days every month. She started taking Myomin and Chi-F. Two days later, her bleeding stopped. After 3 months on the supplements, she continues to maintain a 5- to 6-day period every month.
H.R., a 19-year-old female from California, had irregular and heavy periods. Birth control pills*** did not regulate her cycle. She had used progesterone for 18 months but heard about its side effect so she stopped. Two months after that, she started having continuous bleeding. It was at this time that she started taking Chi-F and Myomin. After only 2 days, her continuous abnormal bleeding stopped. After 2 months on both supplements, she has maintained a regular 28-day cycle.
***Birth control pills must be used with caution as they contain small amounts of synthetic progesterone and estradiol. Over time, these hormones can accumulate in the body and may eventually cause estrogen dominance, exacerbating bleeding or other conditions. Take Chi–F and Myomin instead for heavy periods.

MYOMIN, CHI-F, ANGIOSTOP FOR ABNORMAL UTERINE BLEEDING
The underlying cause of abnormal uterine bleeding is hormonal imbalance. This was the case with H.R. above. In other cases this imbalance – mainly estrogen dominance – is associated with conditions such as adenomyosis (endometrial thickening), ovarian cysts or uterine fibroids. The goal, therefore, is to balance estrogen and progesterone in order to stop the bleeding and resolve related conditions.
Myomin for Estrogen Dominance*, Fibroids, Endometriosis, Cysts
*Estrogen dominance: Progesterone/Estradiol ratio> 200 (see Table 1)
Growth of fibroids, endometriosis and cysts are fueled by estrogen and these can eventually grow big enough to cause bleeding. Taking Myomin can help correct estrogen dominance and eventually shrink the growths. Such was the case in Dr. Khozin’s patient above and the first two cases of endometrial thickening.
For larger growths, dermoid ovarian cysts, sudden bleeding after menopause, Myomin is recommended with Angiostop and Revivin, like in the first featured story above and in the following case.
V. Jefferson, DC from New York, has a 58-year-old female patient on bioidentical estrogen and progesterone. She has a myoma the size of a 7-month fetus. It wasn’t a surprise that she had heavy bleeding. She’s already had a 6-pint blood transfusion but was frustrated because she was still bleeding. Then she tried Angiostop, Myomin and Revivin. After only 3 days, she was so thrilled because her bleeding stopped. Since then, her symptoms improved. A year later, her myoma is much smaller, and she has had no more bleeding. Dr. Jefferson’s phone number is (201) 567-7463.
MYOMIN corrects hyperaromatization, which makes it recommended for those on BHRT. Hyperaromatization is the excess conversion of testosterone, progesterone and DHEA to estradiol or estrone, leading to estrogen dominance. Myomin blocks this excess conversion. In Dr. Jefferson’s case, the bioidentical hormones most likely fueled the growth of the myoma, which responds to estrogen. Once a growth reaches a certain size, you also want to prevent new blood vessels from forming (angiogenesis) and causing malignancy. ANGIOSTOP, a sea cucumber extract, is strongly recommended in this case. With this combination, both the bleeding and growth will be controlled.

Chi-F for Balancing Hormones, Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
Chi-F is a combination of herbs designed to balance hormones (estrogen and progesterone) to help with menstrual irregularities, including PMS and uterine bleeding. Studies show that Chi-F has the following properties:
- Promotes a balanced menstrual cycle by 75%
- Reduces abnormal uterine bleeding by 93%
- Reduces PMS symptoms by more than 90%
Its effect on menstrual cycle and bleeding is evident in Dr. Khozin’s and H.R.’s cases above. In combination with Myomin, it normalized the menstrual cycle and stopped abnormal uterine bleeding in both cases. This is because Chi-F and Myomin work together to balance hormones, such as in this case from Dr. Weber.

Myomin and Chi-F for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
PCOS is associated with insulin resistance and high testosterone/ estrogen.
J. Weber, MA, DC, DCBCN from New York, has a 33-year-old female patient with PCOS. She was on progesterone but her hormones were still imbalanced and her periods irregular. A Pg/E2 ratio of less than 200 signifies estrogen dominance. Hers was too low at 4.40 (Table 1). After adding Myomin and Chi-F, her periods became regular and her hormones balanced (Pg/E2 increased).

Metabolic Syndrome Increases Endometrial Cancer Risk
New studies reveal that metabolic syndrome increased endometrial cancer risk by 17-21%, independent of obesity.* Metabolic syndrome is associated with 4 factors: obesity, insulin resistance, high cholesterol, and hypertension. The first two factors are associated with estrogen dominance. This means that, in this study, insulin resistance/diabetes has some impact on this risk.
Premenopausal women with insulin resistance have typically higher than normal testosterone, like in Dr. Weber’s patient’s case. In men or postmenopausal women with insulin resistance, testosterone tends to be a bit low. So in these cases, precautions need to be taken so it does not lead to metabolic syndrome, especially if there is already a sign of estrogen dominance, like in Dr. Weber’s case, because this adds to the risk of endometrial chance.

Myomin, Angiostop and Revivin for Endometrial Dysplasia
For women who already have endometriosis or thickening of the endometrium (hyperplasia), the risk for endometrial cancer is already high. So addressing this early is of utmost importance. In the following case, the use of Myomin, Angiostop and Revivin helped in improving thick endometrial lining.
I. Wilkins, MD from Pennsylvania, has a 67-year-old female patient taking Myomin, Angiostop and Revivin since August 2012 for thick endometrial lining and possible endometrial polyp. After 6 months, a pelvic ultrasound revealed tremendous improvement (Table 2).

CONCLUSION
Therefore, if you know you have hormonal imbalance or have symptoms or conditions associated with it such as abnormal uterine bleeding, irregular periods, fibroids, cysts or endometriosis, start taking Myomin and Chi-F.
Premenopausal Women:
If you are premenopausal and have irregular periods or PMS, take Chi-F to regulate your cycle. Myomin may also be added, especially if you also have uterine fibroids, endometriosis or similar condition.
Postmenopausal Women:
If you are postmenopausal and have uterine fibroids or endometriosis, take Myomin and Angiostop, especially if you have sudden heavy menstrual bleeding.
