Whole Skin Ointment: Natural First-Aid for Fast, Scar-Free Skin Healing
CHI HEALTH LETTER February 20, 2015

FEATURED STORY

S. Chi, dermatologist from CA, shares the story of a 95-year-old male patient who suffered from a severe bleach burn on November 5, 2014. He had deep 2nd and some 3rd degree burns (Figure 1) and was rushed to the USC Burn Center where they wanted a skin graft. Instead Dr. Chi wanted him released after one night to avoid resistant strain infection from the hospital.

For the first 1 ½ months, the wound
nurse came 5 times weekly to apply Silvadene to the burn. The rest of theweek, Whole Skin was applied. Every day the Mineral Infrared Therapy (MIT) machine was also directed on the burn to dry the effusion. Beginning in mid-January 2015, the nurse came less frequently, only twice a week, until early February. Now only the Whole Skin and MIT are applied daily. As of late January 2015 (Figure 2), the doctor said his burns are 98% recovered.

A note on hospitals...

When you or a loved one has a medical emergency, going to the ER is, of course, the right choice. However, try not to stay in the hospital too long for a number of reasons. While being admitted to the hospital might be convenient for family members because they don’t have to worry about in-home care, there are unwanted risks involved. First, staying in the hospital is unpleasant for most people, causing discomfort and sometimes agitation. This may worsen the patient’s condition or cause other problems. Second, you must rely on the hospital’s available treatment and staff. And many of you probably know that these may not always be ideal. Perhaps the most important reason is that it is easy to contract resistant strain infection in the hospital. After all, that’s where sick people go so pathogens are undoubtedly in the air and can be easily transmitted. If you are sick already, this increases your risk of getting it. In Dr. Chi’s case above, she insisted on releasing the patient after only a day for this reason. Furthermore, the patient himself was an MD and hospital administrator and did not want to stay longer at the hospital because he knows the risks involved. When he fell before after losing his balance when a dog jumped on him, he refused to go to the hospital.
WHOLE SKIN FOR BURNS, WOUNDS, POST-SURGICAL HEALING, BED SORES, SKIN ULCERS, SCARS AND MORE

Dr. Chi’s case above is a classic example of how effective Whole Skin is in healing burns. The addition of the MIT machine helped speed up the healing process. Over the years, we have had many cases attesting to this fact. And this remedy is not just for burns either. Whole Skin and the MIT are also recommended for wounds, post-surgical scars, skin ulcers, bed sores and other skin conditions.

Besides burns, Whole Skin is also recommended for cuts, wounds, post-surgical scars, skin ulcers, decubitus ulcers from diabetes, bed sores and other skin conditions. So how does Whole Skin work?

  • It increases and activates fibroblasts, which are critical to wound healing, instigating the natural cell regenerative healing process and allowing skin to heal with no or minimal scars.
  • It stimulates angiogenesis at the site, promoting skin healing.
  • It also promotes circulation to prevent dehydration and blood stasis in the compromised area while clearing away toxic materials, removing putrid tissue and promoting growth of new tissue.
  • Its natural antiseptic and antibiotic properties prevent infection in affected areas.
  • It has analgesic properties for soothing relief.
Many emergency room doctors suggest the use of Whole Skin before trying skin grafts. It was so effective for burns that, in 1990, Newsweek wrote:

"The new remedy not only eases pain of burn injuries...speeds healing, reduces scarring and drastically cuts the cost of saving lives. There is no need for bandages, no topical antibiotics and no sterile isolation.”

- Newsweek. May 7, 1990: 68.

Add Mineral Infrared Therapy (MIT) for Burns and Wounds for Faster results

Adding MIT to Whole Skin enhances its effect and speeds the healing process. For burns and wounds, the MIT helps dry the area of effusion, pulling out the pus and preventing infection. This makes the skin heal faster. The heat from the MIT is not really as necessary in these cases, just its frequency. So direct the MIT about 2 feet away from the affected area(s).

More MIT mechanisms, functions and applications will be discussed in our next Chi Health Letter issue.
CASE REPORTS

Frostbite

M. Rocco, DC from Colorado, has a 39-year-old male patient who was caught in a snowstorm for an entire night at -57°F. He developed frostbite in his feet and hands (Figure 3), causing his doctors to suggest amputation. He used Whole Skin, Vein Lite, OxyPower, Asparagus Extract and Bathdetox. In 2 weeks, he had improved dramatically that no amputation was needed at all. In 6 months, it completely healed (Figure 4).

Burns

J. Wright, MD from Washington, had a patient with electric blanket burns on a large portion of his buttocks. Dr. Wright suggested using Whole Skin. The area is now completely healed with normal skin and there was no need for costly skin grafting.

H. Gaynor, MD from Colorado (former President of the American Burn Victim Foundation), had a patient, a 14-year-old boy, with 3rd degree burn on his right arm. Due to the formation of keloids and scar tissue, he could not move the arm at all. Little improvement was made with conventional treatment. However, after a one-month daily application using Whole Skin, the keloids had melted away and he could move his arm without pain.

D. Tally, DPH from Tennessee, reports on a boy with second-degree burns from scalding water who used Whole Skin. There was alleviated pain, decreased blistering and redness shortly after application, showing that healing had already begun.
Bed Sores

A female in her 80s developed a big, very deep bed sore below her hip. It was very deep and infected with plenty of effusion. The doctors had to remove some dead tissue and skin. A nurse came to dress the wound with Aquacel. On alternating days her daughter would apply Whole Skin ointment and the MIT. After only 3 weeks, the nurse was so surprised that the bed sore was improving significantly. After about 5 months, the bed sore had healed completely.

D. Rapp, MD from Arizona, had an 89-year-old female patient with major bed sores, caused the heels of her feet to show a sponge-like consistency. There was no sign of improvement after months of steroid or antibiotic use. After a few weeks of using Whole Skin, her bedsores healed nicely.
Wounds, Abrasions and Post-Surgical Healing

A 9-year-old girl from California fell down and had deep abrasions on the arms and face while being babysat by her grandmother. Whole Skin was applied to affected areas and dramatic improvement was noticed by the second day. Her skin totally healed by the ninth day. Results were so impressive that grandma felt lucky to have Whole Skin readily available, thus avoiding the dilemma of being blamed by her daughter for the accident.

N. Rakowsky, MD from Arizona, has a 76-year-old male patient with a benign neck tumor. After surgery, the wound would not heal and was painful. Dr. Rakowsky used Whole Skin to fill in the wound and, within 20 minutes, he could feel the pain alleviating. In 2 hours, the pain was completely gone. In one week, the wound had healed.

F.H., a 55-year-old female from California, had a wound that would not heal after colon cancer surgery. Intravenous Vancomycin was administered because the wound became infected. The wound dressing would have to be changed every half hour because of slow drainage (pus/abscess). Then her doctor learned of the MIT and started applying it on the wound. The wound started to drain more, causing more pus to come out and start to dry. They didn’t have to change the dress as frequently. After a few days, the wound was starting to heal and Whole Skin was then applied. After 12 days, the infection and pus cleared and the wound healed with minimal scarring.

Decubitus Ulcer

W. von Wagner, NMD, DC from Florida, had a 29-year-old male patient who had decubitus ulcers on his left leg from a car accident. He used Whole Skin and the MIT and took Vein Lite daily. After 18 days, his ulcer healed.

J. Iannetta, DC from Maine, has a 52-year-old male patient who lost the toes on his right foot in a truck accident. He developed an infection, which caused him to change his socks 30 times a day. He also had numerous operations and skin grafts and the medical prognosis was amputation of his right foot. He instead started to use Whole Skin Ointment, Vein Lite and the MIT. Three months later, drastic changes occurred. He is able walk with no pain and no longer needs his foot removed
