Detecting and Managing High Cholesterol Naturally
CHI HEALTH LETTER                September 15, 2014
September is National Cholesterol Education Month

Approximately 33% of Americans (more than 102 million) have cholesterol levels at or above the threshold of 200 mg/dL. The higher the cholesterol level, the greater the risk for heart disease and stroke. Managing it is, therefore, important to reduce heart problems.

High cholesterol (or hyperlipidemia) is usually asymptomatic. You won't feel any different until cholesterol deposits make your arteries narrow enough that you start to feel symptoms such as trouble breathing, numbness, and cold hands and feet. These symptoms mean that blood flow has been compromised and your risk for heart disease and stroke is high.

Xanthomas: Early Marker for High Cholesterol

If you don't have access to a blood test, then looking for xanthomas can help you detect high cholesterol early. Xanthomas are cholesterol or fatty deposits typically found around the eyes.

Besides high cholesterol, xanthomas also signal atherosclerosis and ischemic heart disease. Those who have these have a 48% higher risk of myocardial infarction than those who do not have it. If present in individuals under 30 years old, xanthomas signals arterial plaque.

So what can you do to manage cholesterol naturally?

Wine Extract Reduces High Cholesterol and Triglycerides

Like with many cardiovascular disease, lifestyle changes are necessary to reduce cholesterol. A well-balanced diet, exercise and maintaining healthy weight are just some of the things you can do to control cholesterol. In cases where these may not be enough, Wine Extract is recommended.

Wine Extract is a natural wine extract containing polyphenols that decreases the liver's production of cholesterol and balances the body's levels of unsaturated fatty acids and triglycerides. Since it is naturally derived, Wine Extract balances the liver toxicity effect that statin drugs can induce.

A 3-month study showed that Wine Extract:
  • Reduced Total Cholesterol by 88%
  • Reduced Triglyceride level by 80%
  • Increased HDL (the "good" cholesterol) by 65%
For even better and faster results, Wine Extract can be combined with Vein Lite and OxyPower.

Case Reports

N.P. from Texas has been taking Wine Extract and Vein Lite for cardiovascular disease. After 1 ½ years, her cholesterol levels reduced.

G. Depke, ND from California, reports on a 67-year-old female patient with congestive heart failure. After taking Wine Extract, Vein Lite, OxyPower, and Asparagus Extract for  about 4 months, her cholesterol level reduced by 36 points.

J. Iannetta, DC from ME, has a female patient who took Wine Extract for her elevated levels of cholesterol and triglycerides. After 45 days, her levels improved.

Indeed, Wine Extract is effective in managing cholesterol and triglyceride levels either by itself or with Vein Lite and OxyPower.
