The Equity Action Team April Meeting will be held Saturday, April 17th, beginning at 10:00 AM!
You do not need to register to attend this meeting, however you do need to create or sign in to a free Zoom account. Although this does present a barrier to access, we are attempting to balance these barriers with the security of us and our people. The City of Austin's Urban Forestry Program is hiring a Youth Program Specialist to coordinate all aspects of the Youth Forest Council.

The first position will support the implementation of housing plans and programs, report on progress towards housing goals, and collaborate with diverse communities through various planning processes to elevate and promote housing affordability and equity.
The second position will implement Imagine Austin by coordinating and working with other city departments, tracking and analyzing indicators, performing GIS mapping and research, producing reports and presentations, and engaging with diverse communities through long-range planning processes.

The Violet KeepSafe Storage program is hiring for a Program Attendant with lived experience of homelessness. Interested applicants need to contact Robert Kingham at Robert.Kingham@austintexas.gov for a link to apply for this open position by Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
This position will be scheduled for 38 to 40 hours per week and will be responsible for intake of new program participants, monitoring and recording program usage, retrieving & stowing storage carts, and maintaining a welcoming environment for program participants.
