Applications are open now for small grants to promote growth of new connections between scholars, practitioners, educators, and/or communicators working to understand, spread the word about, and mitigate the impacts of climate change on human health. Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis through August 30, 2023 with the next review deadline on January 10, 2022.
The NOAA Fisheries Southeast Regional Office is now seeking applications for the FY22 Gulf of Mexico Bay-Watershed Education & Training (Gulf B-WET) competition. This program focuses on environmental education that promotes place-based experiential learning for K-12 students and related professional development for teachers across the five Gulf States. Applications are due by Feb 18, 2022.

There is $275,000 in funding available for GTOPs Core this year, and individual awards are up to $35,000 each. If you are a non-profit doing digital inclusion work and would like to submit a project for funding, the first step is to submit a Letter of Interest. The Letter of Interest submission window is now open until January 9, 2022 (hard deadline).
GTOPS is also looking for volunteer grant reviewers. Community volunteers are necessary for us to keep providing GTOPs as a community driven grant opportunity. Take The City of Austin Housing and Planning (HPD) Department's Survey!
The public is invited to review and comment on the City’s performance report of federally-funded housing and community development programs in Fiscal Year 2020-2021. The report demonstrates how many people were served by programs such as Tenant-Based Rental Assistance, Tenants’ Rights Assistance, Childcare Services, Rental Housing Development Assistance, Rapid Rehousing, and more within the fiscal year. Demographic information of the population is included. The report also includes an update on CARES Act funded services.
Submit Your Work to The Winter Storm Project!
The Winter Storm Project is looking for artists to submit work for an anthology titled: “Double Winter, Troubled City: Austin Art on the 2021 Winter Storm." We are looking for art that expresses your experience of the storm and its lasting impact on our ever changing climate. Send us your art, your stories, and anything in between.

- Accepted submissions will be compensated
- 100% of sales will go to local organizations
