We want to learn from Black parents and guardians about your student’s education.
Do you have a child enrolled in public, charter and private schools or do you homeschool in Central Texas?
We are asking Black parents to join a roundtable discussion to share your experience with our public, charter and private schools or homeschooling. We will talk about ways to make sure schools meet the needs of our Black girls and boys.
The City’s Homeless Strategy Division is partnering with the City’s Office of Innovation to allocate up to $1.0M for this Organizational Capacity Building Initiative. The purpose of this Initiative is to help organizations prioritize organizational capacity investments, receive technical assistance to quickly implement short-term capacity investments, and/or participate in a cohort-based accelerator program addressing capacity building needs. This application will be used to select awardees to participate in the Organizational Capacity Building Initiative process.
PEAS will capture the curiosity of youth ages 7-12 outdoors and in the kitchen classroom. Children will participate in the beauty of exploring nature, growing and preparing fresh foods while exercising and having fun! This camp includes a variety of ground-to-table games and activities, including maintaining gardens, exploring outdoors, nature art, planting, growing, harvesting, meal prep, eating and more!
Project Connect Anti-Displacement Community Initiated Solutions
$20 million of Project Connect Anti-Displacement Funding is now available to support programs that benefit residents who live within one mile of Project Connect lines and stations in areas facing risk of displacement.
Nonprofit organizations and partnerships are invited to propose applications for a range of investments that stabilize tenants and homeowners and build economic mobility.

Youth Rise Texas, an Austin, Texas based non-profit organization seeks its next Co-Executive Director to continue to execute and grow its strategic plan. Over the next 5 years the organization will pursue many goals. The Co-ED will work closely with their fellow Co-ED as a partner but will fully own a body of work. The Co-ED will continue to pursue the organization's primary goals over the next 5+ years. The division of work may be based on the new Co-ED's particular strengths and experiences. Both ED's are supported by the staff and board of directors.
