The Equity Office logo and tagline
Good afternoon Equity Action Team,

As you may have already guessed, the EAT meeting originally scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled as we continue to work to respond and develop a recovery plan that centers our communities of color, elders, people with disabilities and others most impacted by the severe weather crises.

I'm including some information below, as warm weather shelters continue to operate and the City begins to stand up water distribution sites. Keep an eye out, per the Emergency Update held this afternoon, the details on the water distribution plan and locations will be released this evening. This plan will include water distribution locations where each car can get one case of bottled water, as well as partner non-profits and organizations to assist with water delivery for those without transportation.

You can check at http://www.austintexas.gov/weatherinfo for details as this information becomes available.
