Happy Monday Equity Action Team! 

 

This is just a friendly reminder that our May EAT Meeting is tomorrow Tuesday May 30, 2023 from 6:00PM - 9:00PM at the Street-Jones Building, 1000 E 11th St #120. We will be meeting on the fourth floor, in Conference Room 400A. Register here or just come through! 

 

We will continue our April conversation with PODER, learn about the Enhanced Library Card pilot program, and received an update on the $300M Anti-Displacement fund tied to Project Connect. As always, we'll build community over delicious food! Dinner will start at 6PM and we'll kick off the meeting with introductions around 6:15PM/6:30PM. 

 

As a follow-up to our April meeting, folks may want to check out the recently released Austin Light Rail Community Engagement Report authored by Austin Transit Partnership. 

 

Parking:

Guests can park in the lot attached to the Street-Jones building by turning north on Waller Street and then immediately turning left into the parking lot. No QR Code required!

 

Accessibility:

There are ramps both in the front and back entrance of the building. Back parking garage door does NOT have an ADA button to open the door. The front door on E 11th Street does have an ADA button, and there is a ramped walkway that connects the parking lot to the front entrance. Please see below photo for further clarification.

 

To get to the fourth floor, you can use the elevators. There are no steps to the entrance or in front of our office door.
