Joint Inclusion Committee Budget Town Halls

The City of Austin’s Quality of Life Commissions are holding virtual townhalls this month to prepare their budget recommendations for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. The townhalls will serve as listening sessions for the commissions to identify what communities need right now and how their budget recommendations can address those needs. Though there are specific topics identified for each town hall, members of the public can speak about any funding priority that's important to them.

The virtual meetings are hosted by the Joint Inclusion Committee, are free and open to the public, via Zoom, and scheduled for two hours each. To register to attend, visit bit.ly/2022qolbudget. Log-in links from Zoom will be sent to you after registration.

If you can’t attend a meeting but still want to give feedback, e-mail budgetqa@austintexas.gov. Feedback will be shared with the Commissions. Spanish and American Sign Language interpretation are available for all three meetings.

If you need interpretation in an additional language, please contact 3-1-1 by end of day tomorrow, Friday, February 18th.
