Greetings
To Start with and most important is to wish you and yours continued health and security over these complex times.
Just a little aside to maybe escape the ongoing Mayhem. My Father who also was keen on this great hobby we share taught me much about collecting. When as a young lad I asked him, as young people do: How many stamps do you need to complete your collection? His answer, which was two, perplexed me! So, of course I had to ask which two? I was expecting him to tell me two rare items I could spend my life looking for. However, his reply was a little more cryptic to a young lad, it was: "Those I will never be able to afford and those I could buy today if only I could source them". Well, I think I carried that lesson with me a long time as it pretty much sums up the situation for most of us. Besides those really rare items can't be just hinged into an album for occasional viewing most are kept in airtight safes and seldom see the light of day! So, I have always tried to concentrate my efforts in the second area. I mention this story as it's always hard for a dealer to just list lower priced items as there is always the need to generate income to pay the expenses. So, over the next few weeks I am going to try and concentrate a lot of my efforts into putting up as many as I can of lower priced items. As I am sure many collectors trapped at home will have time on their hands for looking but may well be running a bit short on cash. So, I hope that will help a bit.
With the above in mind I have made a start this week. Basically listing lower value items that build up here when I don't have time to list them. I came across a quite large range of Used Bermuda items very strong for the period 1970s/90s Nothing spectacular but many quite hard to find so that area is well worth a look. The rest of my time this week has been in Desk sweeping of other lower value items, so I have put the main pictorial links to the West Indies for the Bermuda and the main Index for the other. As usual there are Yellow Text links at the foot of this note to specific areas that I know have had top-ups and additions.
Don't forget for us in Europe Summertime starts tomorrow so put you clocks forward an hour tonight.
