COUNTERING NIMBYism TRAINING
Not In My Back Yard
As part of our Spring 2023 Housing & Wholeness Campaign, the Leaven Land & Housing Coalition is hosting a series of training on how to have courageous conversations with our neighbors around the housing crisis - conversations that address people's concerns, counter the NIMBYism narratives that divide us, and build active support for humane & proven solutions to this crisis.

Tuesday Pantry
For those wanting to start volunteering at St. Matthews, SMLC has created a sign-up portal to help them organize the needs and the volunteers.
Starting from Tues Mar 28, 2023, to Tues Dec 12, 2023, Please sign up for Tuesday night Pantry at SMLC Pantry. We need 2 - 4 volunteers on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Plan to be there between 4:45 pm and 6:15 pm to help clients shop for food at the Pantry. A leader will be present to direct.
