News & Announcements:
Final week to submit a nomination for Church Council
Council nominations are due by this Sunday, April 24. Use this online form to make your nomination.
Tracy Litterer has served on Council for four years. Her second term is ending in June. Below are Tracy's reflections on council and what she will miss:

I'm feeling sad about my term ending right when I feel like things are going to get really interesting for Community of ChristChurch! Council meetings are always interesting with whatever we need to discuss and Pastor David's biblical work is always spot on often bringing a new way to look at scripture and have good discussion. I really enjoyed being on counsel because it gave me the opportunity to deeply know the other council members. It was also good to understand what it takes to keep the church running well and growing. It always amazes me how many really smart people attend ChristChurch. It has been fun listening to and supporting the great ideas that people bring up in council meetings. I am really going to miss being with these people in this context!

The Church council typically meets once a month. View meeting minutes at this website. If you have questions about the council, contact Suze Engbretson, council President.

The ISing Choir will perform at the Reser at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 1. Tickets are on sale online.

Typically, the choir's programs are titled "Out of the Americas." The choir travels to an international destination to play music from the United States, then brings that culture's music back to perform at home.

For the upcoming show, ISing will perform "Stuck in the Americas" instead, said conductor and artistic director Stephen Galván. The choir has been practicing for months — even online.

As with all of ISing's concerts, the choir will donate 100% of the proceeds. For the April 30 and May 1 shows, the Washington County-based HomePlate Youth Services will receive the funds. Get tickets here.
