New Announcements & Reminders:

TEXTtalks: New Year Gospel Edition – Thursday, December 17th, 7-8:30pm

Are you interested in getting a head start on engaging with the scripture texts that form the basis for preaching each Sunday morning in worship?

Join us on Thursday, December 17th, at 7pm, for the next edition of TEXTtalks… a monthly conversation on the texts we hear in worship. Join me and others as we read through the upcoming Bible stories and ask ourselves… what do we notice? what do we wonder about?

In this upcoming session we will discuss the following stories for the month of January, all from the Gospel of Luke:

Luke 2:41-52    In My Abba’s House                        Jan 3

Luke 3:1-22      Make Ready the Way                      Jan 10

Luke 4:14-30   Good News to the Poor – Remix!  Jan 17

Luke 5:1-11       Don’t Be Afraid                                  Jan 24

Luke 6:1-16      Poking the Bear!                              Jan 31

I look forward to this opportunity to engage with God’s word in community.

I invite you to read these texts ahead of time and come ready to join the discussion.

Explore Your Relationship with Food

Are you curious about your relationship with food? Or wonder what I’m even talking about when I say that? Do you know what you’re “supposed” to eat but find yourself more attracted to what you’re not “supposed” to eat? Then this class is for you! Eating, and feeding our bodies isn’t just about food – it’s about so much more! Taste, emotions, memories, experiences, beliefs, rituals, traditions, and more! No wonder it can be so hard to just simply eat!
In this class we’ll explore your personal relationship with food and how that impacts how and what you eat. This class will be interactive, so come with an open mind, ready to explore new ideas and possibilities. Class will be held online via zoom.
Q&A with a Nutritionist - FREE!
I know you have burning nutrition questions - so let's chat! It's way more fun to talk to me vs seeing what google has to say about your questions And the best part is you get to talk to me for FREE! This is your chance to meet me and ask your questions about nutrition, food relationship, and/or body image. Is the newest nutrition craze really good for you? Is BMI a good indicator of health? What can you eat to support your immune system? Whatever your question is, let's talk and find out! This class is held monthly on the first Friday of every month and is completely FREE! Next class is Friday, December 4th at 12pm PST. Register to get the zoom link to join!
