Visit Lutheran Disaster Response to donate.

As our neighbors in Puerto Rico, Florida, South Carolina, and other places continue to suffer in the aftermath of hurricanes like Fiona and Ian, we may wonder what we can possibly do to make a difference. One simple and effective way to provide real help is to donate to Lutheran Disaster Response.

Lutheran Disaster Response shares God's hope,

healing, and renewal with

people whose lives have been disrupted by

disasters in the United States

and around the world.

Baby Care Kits
Last Saturday, thirteen eager volunteers helped prepare baby kits at the home of Craig and Cindy Kinnie.  In less than two hours, 133 outfits were selected, wrapped in soft, colorful blankets, packed, and sealed for delivery.   These kits, along with quilts, personal kits, and school kits from other churches in the region, will travel to a warehouse in Minnesota before being shipped abroad. This year, we are tracking our boxes and we hope to hear within 6-9 months of their destination.

Thank you so much for participating in this project.  To all who contributed financially; sewed hats, towels, and blankets; purchased clothing and soap; or came to pack the boxes, we couldn't have been successful without YOU.  Each family will be given a measure of hope for a brighter future through your loving contribution.  THANK YOU!
