Summer Preaching Series Continues
Stay after worship for prayer and conversation on the book. Pastor David will be leading us in reflecting and discussing Chapter Ten - Is This Overkill?
Read the discussion questions on
p. 145, samples below:
"You must step back from your compulsiveness, and your attachment to yourself, to be truly conscious"(p.85). What are some ways you can begin to be conscious?
"Most people...are rather totally identified with their own thoughts, feelings, and compulsive patterns of perception"(p.85). How does detachment help you to separate yourself from your feelings, thoughts, and compulsive patterns of perception?
Don't forget - Audio sermons, PowerPoints and Bible readings from the series are available
online here. |
