2019 Annual Congregational Meeting Summary

Thank you to everyone who attended the Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, June 9th after worship. In addition to the annual business of voting on a budget and church council nominees, we voted on the Isaiah 43:19 Proposal. We reflected on the past year and looked ahead to the challenges and opportunities that face us in the year ahead.

We welcomed three new elected Church Council members, Anke Brandstater, Mark Henderson and Violet Thetford. We said thank you to outgoing council member Sarah Wilkinson.

Our Church Council Roster for the 2019-20 fiscal year will be:

President: Denise DeMarre

Secretary: Michael Gross

Treasurer: Rich Radford

Pastor David Eppelsheimer

Anke Brandstater

Mark Henderson

Paul Jackson

Tracy Litterer

Violet Thetford

The proposed annual budget, the Council Slate for 2019-2020 fiscal year and the Isaiah 43:19 proposal were approved by unanimous vote (31 - 0 votes). After the new church council has had the opportunity to meet, we will be sending out a midsummer update with additional information about the Isaiah 43:19 proposal and related next steps.

Council meetings are typically on the 2nd Wednesday at 6:30pm each month. They are open to all. Full minutes from the annual meeting will be available for review in mid- July.

We ask for your continued prayers for the church council in this upcoming fiscal year. Thank you again to all who attended and presented.
