Nominations for Church Council
Do you know someone you think would be great in a leadership role at ChristChurch? Beginning March 31st we are accepting nominations for a 2-year term for the Church Council. Your Church Council is a gifted and passionate group of people who love Jesus and love this congregation.
We are also a very small group, leaving us with a somewhat limited capacity as we seek to be servant/leaders for Community of ChristChurch. So, we are looking for people who are equally passionate about serving God and this church; people who would be willing to give their time and energy by joining the council.
Whose gifts are needed as we move forward into the future the Spirit has in store for us? This year our council consists of five members (six including Pastor David.) Our constitution allows for a minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 council members, so we are looking for 3 to 5 nominees to grow our council and keep it sustainable and life-giving.
What does the Council do?
The Council serves the needs of the congregation by taking care of business items, reviews financials and has ‘big picture’ discussion on our mission and vision. Laughter, relationship building and biblical work are also a big part of each meeting.
What’s the time commitment for being part of the Council?
The Council meets in person once a month on a weeknight for about 2.5 hours. They stay in touch via email throughout the month as needed.
How do I nominate someone?
Forms will be available in the Commons on March 31st. Nomination forms must be received by the church office at noon on Sunday, April 28th.

Our Annual Congregation Meeting is set for
