Collaborative Worship in Advent – Sunday Mornings

The pastor of a church is not the only person in the congregation with insight and wisdom concerning God’s living word. Every person who finds himself or herself in worship brings a unique perspective to the biblical text, informed by his or her experiences and worldview.
This Advent season, you are invited to participate in a fun, engaging and creative experiment aimed at including the wisdom and insight of more people in the crafting of our worship service.
Beginning on Sunday, November 26th, those who are interested will be encouraged to gather after worship to read through the text for the following Sunday and participate in exercises and activities designed to help us see and hear the story in new ways.
When we do this together, our individual understanding of God’s word is enhanced by the breadth and depth of our shared perspectives. Not only that, but we can have some fun in the process.
