This Advent season we will continue our Love Without Limits series, but in a slightly different way. Since this time of year tends to get a bit frantic and stressful, let’s slow down the pace a little and encourage each other to truly enjoy the season and one another. Love [one another] Without Limits is the theme for Advent. During the time right after worship, everyone is invited to participate in traditional Advent family activities designed to foster relationships and center ourselves in the anticipation of the Christmas gift of Emmanuel, God with us.

Sunday, November 27^th, Advent 1 Advent Calendars

A new twist to an old tradition. Everything needed for each household to assemble their own simple, DIY Advent Calendars will be available in the Commons after worship. Instead of offering the typical sweet treat for each day in December leading up to Christmas, these calendars will promote 25 random acts of kindness!

Sunday, December 4^th, Advent 2 Christmas Tree Decoration

On this Sunday, we will gather in the Sanctuary to decorate the Christmas tree. It will be up and full of lights. Each person is encouraged to bring an ornament or two to hang on the tree. We will also have some simple decorative crafts ready to decorate the church for the Christmas holiday.

Sunday, December 11^th, Advent 3 Nativity Scenes

We invite you to bring your favorite Nativity Scene to the church. We will have tables set up in the Commons ready to display all the different sets that are brought in. This is an opportunity to share with each other a little bit about our personal family Christmas traditions.

Sunday, December 18^th, Advent 4 Carol Sing

Are you one of those people who feels like there is never enough opportunity to sing Christmas Carols during the holiday season? Do you have a favorite carol or two that you really like to sing? Join us after worship back in the sanctuary for a good old fashioned carol sing.

Do you have a favorite treat that your family enjoys each Advent and Christmas time? Please consider adding your name to the Hospitality Treat Sign Up lists and bring a treat to share!

Saturday, December 24th, Christmas Eve Service

Celebrate the birth of the Christ child on Saturday, December 24th at 4:30pm.

Over ten families from Bright Start will gather with us on Saturday. It's not too late to join us in getting to know the new families that are part of our community.

Automated Giving Opportunity

You may already automate payments for utilities or other bills, and you can do the same for giving to ChristChurch. As a follow-up to the quarterly giving letter, we wanted to offer some assistance to the congregation. There are several ways to schedule donations to ChristChurch, and the finance team wants to make it easy for you to automate giving.

You can use the “give online” button on the church’s website to set up recurring donations through a credit card. You can also use the online bill pay service through your bank, or you can set up direct deposit from your checking account through Simply Giving.

The finance team will be available on Sundays during December after church to answer questions and help you set up automated donations. We look forward to seeing you at the Information Table!
