As we explore what it means to worship a God who loves us (and all people) without limits, we will also explore what it means to move towards loving all our neighbors, in all their differences and diversity without limits.
The first installment in the Love Without Limits series will
be loving people of all abilities without limits. It will run
from September 11th through the 25th.
Guests will include:
- Rev. Michael De Witt, pastor and ministry consultant for
Bethesda Lutheran Communities, will join us this Sunday, September 11th. Mike has invited, and is hoping to be joined by, some of the residents of one of the Bethesda Lutheran community homes nearby. Together they invite you to stay after worship for an open forum conversation in the sanctuary.
- Rev. Bruce Strade, pastor, Executive Director of NW Parish Nurse and member of the Interfaith Disability Network of Oregon (IDNO), will join us for worship and be our guest preacher on Sunday, September 18th. Bruce will be joined by members of IDNO. They invite you to stick around after worship for an open forum conversation in the sanctuary.
- Rev. Mary Peterson, a pastor with cerebral palsy, will be our gust preacher on Sunday, September 25th. She also invites everyon to join her for conversation following worship.
Together we will explore ways to be more welcoming to people of all abilities in our faith community.
