PTA NEWS
Winter Months = Increased Lice Outbreaks

For a little over a month, there have been several cases of lice reported in various grade levels at Corinth. With the winter months, there is more chances for kids to share hats, etc. - making it easier for it to spread.  Please take some precautions to ensure your child does not have it and/or does not continue to spread it. First, make sure you check your own child(ren). Second, be sure to take some preventative measures - such as using a shampoo and spray that includes tea tree oils - which lice do not like. If you have a daughter, please encourage them to wear their hair in a pony tail, braid or bun.  These simple tricks will help stop the spread of lice and get it out of Corinth!

Staff Holiday Gift Fund
During the holiday season, we want to show our appreciation to the Corinth staff who do so much for our kids!  If you would like to make a contribution to the PTA’s Holiday Gift Fund, we will purchase gift cards on behalf of the entire Corinth family. Any contribution, big or small, is much appreciated. This Fund is used for all staff other than classroom teachers. You room parents are in charge of classroom teachers.

Please deliver all donations to the office by Monday December 17th and mark them “Nicole Rolofson- Holiday Fund.” Please make all checks payable to the Corinth PTA.

If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Rolofson at  rolofsonnicole@gmail.com.

2019 Corinth Auction

LAST CALL for donation forms! The Corinth Auction relies on donations to make it successful. While we have a donations committee that is busy at work contacting local companies and filling out online forms to gather as many donations as possible - we also need YOUR help! Take a look at  this flyer to see what we are looking for and be sure to fill it out and return to the Corinth office if you have something to contribute. Have other ideas not listed - write them in!! Did we also mention that all donations are tax deductible and all funds raised go back to support programs at Corinth that YOUR kiddo will benefit from!
Chat N Chew
Calling all 3rd through 6th graders! Get out of the lunchroom and have some fun chatting with your friends about one of the awesome books selected for your grade. Your leaders will have fun things planned for your discussion....all you have to do is read a good book.

Attached is the list of books for each grade and the enrollment form. Please return the form by December 12 to be included in a group.

Groups will meet in January, February, March and April. Be sure to bring a drink and sack lunch so your group can maximize your time together.

If you have any questions, please contact Amber Lutes, amberlutes@icloud.com or corinthchatnchew@gmail.com.
