2019-2020 PTA Board Slate

The nominating committee has worked hard to assemble a great slate for the 2019-2020 PTA Board. Please join us for coffee on Thursday, May 2 at 8:15 in the cafeteria for our final PTA Membership Meeting to vote in the new board members. 

In addition, the board has voted to add a new position for next year...VP Experiences and Community Events. That position will oversee many of the non-fundraising PTA activities at Corinth.

Culver's Restaurant Night - Tues, April 16

Donate while you dine and join us for the next restaurant night at Culver's on Tuesday, April 16th from 5-8 pm. Drive through and dine in included. If you dine in you might have your food delivered by one of your favorite Corinth teachers or staff! 




STEAM Night a Huge Success!

Thank you to all the parents and volunteers that helped with a successful and fun STEAM Night at Corinth. Thank you to Mr. Lowe, Sheryl Heurter and Mr. Walker for their behind the scenes preparation, to Corinth parents Steve Stechschulte, Ernie Longoria, and Amanda and Jared Bruce for their fascinating science presentations. Thank you to parent volunteers Beth Long, Jay Klumpp, Megan Barbre, Leanne Beezley and Amy Thurston for helping with the event.
 



Big Nine Golf Tournament

Monday, April 22nd. Noon shotgun start. Let's bring home the trophy again this year! A shout out to our champion golfers from last year...Charlie Tholl, Curtis Thurston, Tyler Hudson and Parker Hills. Looking for two more foursomes for an afternoon of teeing it for the kids. Dragon Dash - April 27

Save the date for the annual Corinth Dragon Dash, a 5K run and 1 mile fun run. The race is held annually and all proceeds benefit the Corinth PTA which helps supports the Corinth Math Aide and other community funded positions.

**Even if you and your family can't attend Dragon Dash due to Spring sports and activities, you can still participate by choosing the Sleep in option and/or collecting pledges for some amazing prizes. The Sleep-In option is also a great way for out of town friends and family to support Corinth and get an awesome race t-shirt!**

* 5K Run: $23, run begins at 7:45 a.m.
* 1 Mile Fun Run: $12, begins at 7:50 a.m.
* Sleep In (no run, free shirt, join the fun later!) $12 

Packet Pickup will be available at Corinth Elementary School in the main lobby during the following dates and times:
* Thursday, April 25: 2:00-6:00 p.m.
* Friday, April 26: 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 2:30-4:00 p.m.
* Saturday, April 27 (Race Day): 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.

Field Day



FIELD DAY will be held on Friday, May 10th (Rainout will be Monday, May 13th)

  • 4th – 5th Graders 9:00-11:15
  • Kindergarten 12:30 – 2:00
  • 1st – 3rd Graders 12:45 – 2:45

As with previous years, 6th Graders will help coordinate the activities, however we will still need parent volunteers to prep and oversee stations at the event. Please use the Sign Up Genius below to volunteer to assist. This is a great way to help out and ensure your Dragons have a fun field day!
