The Dragon Digest

Your Corinth PTA Newsletter
Week of November 30 - December 4, 2015
Hello Corinth Families!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a nice break. It's a relatively quiet week. Please take a minute to complete our PTA survey.

I look forward to seeing you at our PTA coffee on Friday morning.

Until then, have a great week!

Erin Herbst
PTA President

P.S. On Cyber Monday, don't forget to use Amazon Smile to easily give back to Corinth.

TO DO THIS WEEK:
1. Today: Complete the Corinth Survey

You should have received an email from the Corinth Office, asking you to complete a quick survey as part of our application to be considered a National School of Excellence.

You can find the survey HERE.

Please complete this survey before November 30.
2. Before Tuesday: Sign up for Chat-n-Chew

Does your 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grader love to read? Chat-n-Chew is a fun "book club" where the students and parent volunteers read four books in the spring semester, and meet at lunchtime to discuss each one.

CLICK HERE for the Sign-Up form and more information.

Contact Margi Wilson or Kelly Cannova.

If you are ordering books on Amazon, please consider using Amazon Smile (Link under Calendar), so that Corinth can benefit. Thanks!

NEW DUE DATE: DECEMBER 1

Note: 5th Grade book list has been updated

3. Join the PTA for Coffee on Friday morning after drop-off.

Meet other parents, exchange ideas about holiday presents, trade Thanksgiving stories.
4. Sign up for a Recess Shift

Corinth Recess Coverage for Staff Appreciation Luncheon

The Staff Appreciation Committee is treating the Corinth staff to a delicious and leisurely holiday lunch on Wednesday, December 9. In order to help the staff enjoy their lunch, we are asking parents to volunteer to cover recess duty! Grab a friend and sign up to take the kids outside for a bit. We know the staff will thank you!
