Or, you can pull up your browser and go here. No download necessary. Here’s a simple video to show you how.

Where’s my bid number?
Gone are the days when you bid on a piece of paper with your number. BidPal will know your bid number based on your login. You do not need to enter a bid number to bid on items. The system will know you based on your registration and login. If you had not registered yet and want to buy, BidPal will require you to register at that time which will give you a bid number and collect payment information.

The night of the event, you will receive an event booklet with your bid number on the back to participate in the live auction. Your bid number will also display on your mobile device, but you will not need to enter it anywhere to bid on silent auction items.

Ready, set, charge!

You will access and bid on all silent auction items via your iPhone or Android devices through BidPal, so be sure to have your phone fully charged! If you don’t have a device, there will be some on hand for you to bid from.

Items purchased at the auction must be taken home the night of the auction. Some larger items may require a delivery or pick up. Plans for those items will be discussed on a case by case basis. Corinth Elementary and its affiliated groups and volunteer organizations are not liable for items not taken home after the event.

Spring Walking School Bus coming soon!

Corinth Elementary Walking Wednesday campaign encourages students and parents to walk or bike to school. Our program promotes healthy habits, reduces traffic congestion, boosts our sense of community, and encourages our cities to provide safe routes to school.

Please plan on walking or biking with your student(s) on Wednesday April 5, 12, 19, and 26. Our program also provides Walking School Bus drop-off sites for parents who would like their child to participate, but may live too far for them to walk, or are not able to join them.

Are you a parent who would like to assist with Walking Wednesdays? If so, look for the sign up genius posted soon.

Need more information? Please contact Nicole Harris, this year’s PTA Walking School Bus Chair at (816) 665-3095 or by email.

Parents, the KS Legislature is in the middle of its 2017 session, and I hope you will reach out to our representatives! As you probably are aware, there is again a state budget shortfall that the legislature is trying to reconcile before June 30th. Two weeks ago, a Senate bill proposed significant cuts in the education budget, but as of now, it appears that a tax bill may solve the shortfall problem without (terribly) affecting education dollars. Contact Rep. Stephanie Clayton; Sen. Barbara Bollier. To keep abreast of the latest, please see the non-partisan sites for Game On for Kansas Schools or the Kansas PTA.
FOOD SERVICE….Did you know…………

Did you know that March 6-10, 2017 is National School Breakfast Week?

A great breakfast program is offered in the cafeteria every day. When students take achievement tests, schools strongly urge them to eat breakfast first on testing days. Why? Because we know that when students eat balanced meal, they perform better academically and are better able to concentrate. Yet on “normal” days, many students fail to eat breakfast: they’re too busy, they’re too tired, or they don’t know what to eat. This is a great time to try School Breakfast. Let’s help students to perform better every day, not just on testing days, by making sure they eat a healthy breakfast at home or at school.

Don’t forget – if your child receives free or reduced meals, they are eligible for one breakfast and one lunch per day as part of this benefit. All breakfast and lunch meal choices are available for all students regardless of eligibility status.

The school breakfast menus, lunch menus, and other nutrition information are available on the district’s website.

Nutrition Nuggets attached here.
