HEALTH AND SCIENCE NIGHT
Thursday March 23, 6-7:30
Swim on over to Corinth for an evening all about learning! From aquatic ecosystems to robotics, there's sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.

Be sure to enter the raffle to win family passes to The Museum at Prairiefire!

Hope to see you there!
See flyer here.

NURSE NOTES
Quick reminder Johnson County Health Department will be visiting Corinth this coming Friday morning, March 24 for our annual dental screening. This is simply a screening in which your child will be assessed for dental health and if further dental care/intervention is needed, you will be given a referral.

Please notify Nurse Albert if you wish your child to opt out. (In past years, I have had only 5-6 students opt out, even those with recent preventative care or dental visits). You will get your child's dental screen results sent home in backpacks that day.
BODY VENTURE

BODY VENTURE IS COMING TO CORINTH!

We will need your help to make this a fun and educational experience for our students! Body Venture, a traveling exhibit from the Kansas State Department of Education, Child Nutrition and Wellness, will visit Corinth Elementary on Thursday, March 30, 2017. This is a unique educational program designed to involve Kindergarten through 5th grade students in learning the skills and choices for a healthy lifestyle. Body Venture consists of a 45-foot by 50-foot walk through exhibit representing the human body. Please consider volunteering!
The signup genius link is here.

Spring Walking School Bus coming soon!

Corinth Elementary Walking Wednesday campaign encourages students and parents to walk or bike to school. Our program promotes healthy habits, reduces traffic congestion, boosts our sense of community, and encourages our cities to provide safe routes to school.

Please plan on walking or biking with your student(s) on Wednesday April 5, 12, 19, and 26. Our program also provides Walking School Bus drop-off sites for parents who would like their child to participate, but may live too far for them to walk, or are not able to join them.

Are you a parent who would like to assist with Walking Wednesdays? If so, sign up here.

Need more information? Please contact Nicole Harris, this year’s PTA Walking School Bus Chair at (816) 665-3095 or by email.

Join us for this year’s Dragon Dash – Saturday, April 29th, 2017!

5K starts at 7:45am; 1-mile Fun Run at 7:50am. Sign up before the price increases on April 5th. Invite friends, family – ANYONE can participate. All proceeds support the Corinth PTA.

2016-2017 Corinth Yearbook

We know that one of the most treasured items from your child’s school years is their yearbook. That’s why the Corinth PTA makes sure that each Corinth student receives a complimentary yearbook funded from the PTA dues collected throughout the year. This will be a full color yearbook with 60 pages of highlights and events from the school year.

However, if your child needs an additional yearbook, you can purchase an extra one:

  • Bring a check in the amount of $16 to the office, made payable to “Corinth PTA.”
  • Please note “your child’s name” and “yearbook” on the check.
  • Send an email to Laura Cribb to make sure your additional yearbook is added to the total order.
  • Please send your email and bring your check to the office by March 27, 2017.
