The Dragon Digest

Your Corinth PTA Newsletter
End of School Edition
Hello Corinth Families!

We have a very special school at Corinth. The teachers and staff are inspired. The administration is inspiring. Our families are active, engaged, and supportive of their school. And, at the heart of it all, Corinth has a spectacular group of kids.

It has been my honor and a pleasure to serve as your PTA President for the 2016-17 school year. The PTA at Corinth is able to do an amazing variety of things, and it is only possible because of the involvement of the families. I likened my job this year to traffic director, as all I had to do was point people in the right direction and they did all the work. Thank you for making Corinth a better school with all your support for our children.

Your to-do list for this week:
  • Enjoy the summer break Dragons!

See you in August!

Thanks,
Amy McCarthy
PTA President

SMAC LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
The school year is rapidly coming to a close, but our state legislature is still working on a new school finance formula and tax policy. These matters are of critical importance for our children and will have long-lasting impact.
Your engagement can help to ensure the best possible outcome on these matters.
As emails from school groups may slow down, please watch for coverage on local media, follow Kansas PTA and SMAC PTA on Twitter and Kansas PTA and SMAC PTA on Facebook.
Help make sure your friends, family and neighbors are informed.
If you have any questions now or over the next several weeks, please contact SMAC PTA Legislative Co-Chairs, Devin Wilson at or Mary Sinclair.
