Preparation for Active Tropical Storm Season

  

August and September are usually the height of the Hurricane Season, and historically our network members have readily stepped up to assist in responding to large and small surge events. Network Members have continually taken on significant assignment volume while establishing their dedication to playing a part in restoring lives, businesses and communities after devastating weather events.

 

In order to prepare for the potentially devastating effects of one or more tropical events occurring this Hurricane Season, Contractor Connection would like to establish greater awareness and readiness for our network members.

At this time, we are requesting that you review and validate your Capacity and Surge Response profiles to ensure they are accurate, you will find links to these profiles in your Contractor Dashboard. Please validate that your Surge Capacity reflects the additional volume you can manage during a storm event. Where you are able to mobilize for an event, please indicate, in your Surge Response Profile, the geographic areas and the volume of surge assignments you can manage with your mobilized team. Consider closely any Eastern Seaboard and Gulf Coast states to which you can respond in times of need. The profile tool will prompt you to indicate where you can respond, what size crews, how much capacity and other details related to mobilization that lead to success.

Soon Contractor Connection team members will contact those vendors indicating capability to mobilize to discuss licensing, crew number and size, trades able to perform, and additional information that will establish our collective readiness to respond. 

 

It is critical we complete these profiles and validate the information contained within the tools.  When an event occurs this information is utilized to focus on rapid deployment to affected areas with qualified teams ready to respond. 

Contractor Connection clients and their policyholders are relying on us to provide timely response and quality services for water mitigation, tree removal, roofing and general reconstruction, as needed after the storm. Our ability to mobilize to the affected areas and provide quality repairs in a timely manner, with exceptional experiences is vastly important to the victims of a surge event.

 

Additionally, you will very soon receive a survey requesting updated response mobilization information.  We would ask that you return the survey as soon as you are able to do so.
