Extended Response Times in Central and Eastern United States
Polar Vortex outbreaks have reduced temperatures across much of the United States to well below Zero. Dangerously frigid temperatures and localized heavy snowfalls have created increases in water-related damages and freeze-related claims throughout the Central and Eastern regions.
Contractor Connection’s insurance carrier clients and their policyholders are relying on you, our proven network of contractors, to provide water mitigation, tree removal, roofing or structural repairs, or all of these services as needed after the storm.
Please take a moment to update your Capacity Reporting Portal and Surge Response Profile by looking on the Utilities Tab of your
Contractor Summary Page.
Due to freezing conditions and elevated volume levels, we have extended the “On-Site” Response times for emergency services IF NEEDED to 24-72 hours in the following states:
Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
There may be other areas that will be considered for extended response times as the effects of the cold weather and snow fall are determined. Rapid initial customer contact is still vital to the success of servicing the customer, and all other performance timelines remain in effect.
Please note, Polar Vortex-related assignments will be excluded from POMS Scores. Thank you for helping us restore lives and meet catastrophe management needs.
