I've been reading some newspaper articles with tips on how to buy and give "perfect" holiday gifts. The writers' conclusions were interesting, but not surprising:
- The most important thing that people receiving a gift look for is not how much it cost or how unusual or innovative it is. It is whether the gift is "thoughtful." In other words,
were you thinking about them when you selected the gift.
- The smartest way to save money and time is to shop online rather than in the malls.
- One of the top "bargain" gifts in almost all the surveys were photographs, framed or otherwise.

- Design your card in Photoshop or any other program you use.
- Flatten your photograph and design and save your image as a JPEG.
- Open our ROES program.
- Choose the ROES catalog with the paper surface you want (Lustre, Glossy or Metallic).
- Click on the Design Your Own tab.
- Click on the 5 x 7 template.
- Drag your layout into our template and order a minimum of 15 prints.
- Indicate "Holiday Card Order" in Instructions... and we'll apply our low holiday card prices to your order (priced in our lab; not online) and return your prints with envelopes.
