Here's a true story with a happy ending:
Dottie Sisk's church is celebrating its 80th anniversary.
Dottie found an old, mounted photographic print. It was wedged behind a filing cabinet in the church office. The picture was of the Immanuel Baptist Church choir (Ft. Lauderdale) from the early 1970s. It would have made a perfect commemorative print.
Unfortunately, the print was in pretty bad shape. The color was faded and mold had eaten away at the emulsion, leaving yellow spots on the singers' faces.
Dottie asked us to do our best. So, we retouched the damage and restored the faded color. Then, we printed a big enlargement for Dottie to display in her church.
How do you think we did? |
