Dear Friends,

A HUGE thank you to all you crazy hooligans for coming out to the Last Day Saloon last month and staying for our set.  It was late I know.  Thanks to you it was such a great night!  Your enthusiasm and awesome support really keeps us going!!!

I have my first song in a movie!   I'm totally stoked!  You can read about it below.

Still working a lot on recording my CD.    It's slow going but incredibly fun!  I plan (fingers crossed) for it to be finished and ready for the public in August!!

"Whiskey Bottle's" in a Movie!

I have my first song placement in a movie!!  

For all you Sci Fi fans who love horror flicks, and especially if you like flicks about man eating sharks, then you should definitely check out this movie!  It's called "Swamp Shark" .   There is a party scene in it, where they are on a boat having fun (right before the s*** hits the fan...) and my song Whiskey Bottle is playing in the background!!!  It's super awesome!  It's also playing over the credits as well!!

It will be airing on the Sci Fi Channel on June 25th at 9:00PM PST.

West Coast Songwriter's organization is holding a music festival next weekend.  Don't know about West Coast Songwriter's?  Well, they are a really awesome organization, with the nicest people running it, who do everything in their power to help songwriters and artists with their careers!

  Founded in 1979, WCS has grown into one of the most active music associations in the USA, offering more than 20 events per month. Whether your goal is personal expression or to make a living in the music industry, knowing how to write, or recognize a well crafted song is key to your success.

Advice Needed!

Imagine this... a young cowboy, Billy Joe Joseph, all alone on the prairie (the other hillbillies are home sick).  An alien spaceship lands in front of him.  Seemingly friendly aliens emerge and in clear English give the boy some choices.  He can either go with them and live forever, happily (according to them), on their awesome planet OR he can be flown to Australia where, after publicly arriving by spaceship, he will become a huge tribal leader, OR he can be transformed into a turtle and live in the ocean.   The aliens make it clear that those are his only choices and not choosing one of them is not an option...   (You know what that means... da da da da.)  He has 5 minutes to decide.

This is where you come in.  Billy needs help.  So do I. (Obviously a lot of help - by the way I led into this.)  I'm not faced with aliens at the moment but I am on unfamiliar territory and do need advice.  I will have an "Advisory Board" section in this and future newsletters where anyone, if you have an extra 5 minutes, could voice your thoughts and opinions and help me out A LOT!
