Before I tell you about all the cool events goin on, I had to tell you that I just found out that I've been NOMINATED as a finalist for the BEST BAND in the North Bay Music Awards!

On July 22nd,
the day after the River Town Revival, there is an awesome benefit concert at the Arlene Francis Center Featuring:
The David Luning Band, Frankie Boots and the County Line, Skiffle Symphony, Ben Weiner, and the Michael Walters Band!!
All ages. Doors at 5:30PM show at 6:00. $8-$15 dollar donation at the door. Silent auction including a day sail on the San Francisco bay. Food and beverages for sale inside.
The benefit is for the Guzman family who lost their son in a car accident.

This Train: A Woody Guthrie 100th Birthday Jubilee.

This is gonna be big folks! It's a free day-long event full of music, speakers, exhibits, craft vendors, food, wine, beer, and fun for all ages is a fun way for the whole family to hear over a dozen Guthrie-inspired bands and learn about Woody’s astonishing life and work in an authentic Dust Bowl atmosphere. Both hugely popular and deeply influential, Guthrie’s music, writing and drawing celebrated the lives and struggles of working people during the Depression and its aftermath.
