David Luning News

Howdy Friends!

We just finished the second day of shooting for the "Whiskey Bottle" music video.  We shot it at Doc Holliday's Saloon  in Santa Rosa.  Thank you Christie, and all the staff at Doc Hollidays for allowing us to shoot there.  It was perfect!

Thank you Jared Wright, for your talent, committment, vision, and flexiblity.   You are the man!  Thanks also to Eric and Scott, who helped enormously with the lighting, camera work and acting!  You worked your butt off all day and Eric, you even stepped into a role when needed.   We had help from AE Casting  who found us a fabulous bride and a bartender for the shoot.  They were both pros.   Thank you, Lori, at AE Casting and thank you Lisa Auchterlonie and Mort.  Also, thanks to fabulous friends who came out and danced, and waited, and danced, and waited.  Now, we all know what the movie business is really like.

We have big plans for the last day of shooting.  It will be at the Mystic Theater in Petaluma.  We are inviting everyone to come and be a part of it.    Tell your friends to sign up for this newsletter or "like" my facebook music page to get the details.

In other news, special thanks to Ken O'Donnell from the Mystic Theater  and Patrick Malone from Hopmonk  for the fabulous shout-out in the Press Democrat article  by Dan Taylor.  I was totally stoked and very grateful.

Don't miss the shows below.  One is for a good cause and one is just cuz it's gonna be great.  Both will be a blast.   I hope to see you!

Truly,

David
