A Legacy of Impact

As the summer winds to a close, the activity here at the Leadership Foundation is ramping up. In just the last few weeks, we’ve launched the 2016 class of Leadership Denver, made final preparations for Access Denver—our program for senior executives on Aug. 20 and 21—and are getting ready to launch Impact Denver applications for 2016.

But we aren’t simply an organization that designs leadership programs that dig into the issues. We’ve created a 40-plus-year legacy of impact on our community—and you are a part of that.

In just the last few months, our Leadership Denver class of 2015 launched Ready, Set, COllege, equipping 80 first-generation students for college success (see the story of their impact here and here). Our Impact Denver class worked with 10 local nonprofits to help them better serve the community (learn more about one of those projects here).

Our alumni are changing the face of our region, and we’re proud to have a role in activating and inspiring the leaders who are doing amazing things in our community.

Let's keep moving forward together.

Executive Director
Fall Forum: Sept. 2
Why is this year’s Fall Forum focused on water issues? Because tens of millions of people, billions of dollars of agricultural production and an enormous amount of economic activity from California to the Mississippi River are all dependent on rivers born in the mountains of Colorado.
Water may seem like a dry subject (get it?!), but here’s how we’re making it interesting:
  • Learn how water divides and unites our region with an exclusive screening of The Great Divide by Emmy award-winning Havey Productions (check out the trailer here).
  • A panel of water experts will talk about Colorado’s first-ever water plan and how this issue affects the business community and you as an individual.
  • We’ll give you plenty of time to eat, drink and catch up with your fellow alumni at the reception following the programming.
Details:
Wednesday, Sept. 2

4 to 6:30 p.m.
