Diabetes constitutes a world epidemic, with the highest rates of rise occurring in the Middle-East. In Lebanon, a study conducted in 2005, estimated that one in six adults above age 40 years has diabetes.

In its continuous aim to promote physical activity for the prevention and control of diabetes, DiaLeb participated in the Blom Bank Beirut Marathon which took place on November 11, 2018. Free glucose testing was performed and educational materials were distributed to all those who visited DiaLeb’s booth. |
