Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis or NASH is a common, often “silent” liver disease. It resembles alcoholic liver disease, but occurs in people who drink little or no alcohol. The etiology is unknown, but the disease is often associated with type 2 diabetes and obesity.

The Summer Camp has become a traditional activity held in collaboration with a municipality to discover the beautiful regions in Lebanon. This time, our 3rd Diabetes Summer camp for type 1 adults diabetes patients was held at Jezzine region on Saturday 15 July, 2017 in collaboration with “Jezzine Union of municipalities”.

On Wednesday August 2, 2017, President & Founder of Dialeb, Dr. Jackie Maalouf along members of the Dialeb team visited the National Diabetes Institute of Romania, also member at the International Diabetes Federation IDF. The purpose of this visit is to exchange ideas and expertise in the fields of awareness, prevention, and management of Diabetes.
