NBS Releases BIM Object Standard 2.0!
The
NBS BIM Object Standard is a free standard that defines the requirements to develop good quality BIM objects in any format.
The BIM Object Standard establishes standardized requirements for the information, geometry, behaviour and presentation of BIM objects and gives a reassurance of quality and consistency that facilitates greater collaboration across the construction industry. This enables quick, confident and informed decision-making.
Register with NBS National BIM Library to access the online version and benefit from free and extensive NBS guidance.

NBS National BIM Library is a library of BIM objects - both generic and manufactured - available free to download. The objects within the National BIM Library have all been certified to comply with the NBS National BIM Standard. More recently, objects have been populated with North American classification numbers to make them useful more globally.... comes to Canada!
