Digicon becomes NBS

Digicon was acquired by NBS in 2017. Beginning in 2020, all external communications will be identified as NBS.

For now, the store where we market legacy products will remain as Digicon and its URL will remain the same at store.digicon.ab.ca. However, invoices and other future communications may be issued as NBS.

Support for BIMdrive and CMS Word Files to End

NBS wishes to announce that support for the delivery of CMS master specifications in Microsoft Word format is coming to an end. Looking to the future, CMS will only be delivered on the NBS Chorus platform.

In addition, support for our legacy software BIMdrive is also coming to an end.

Effective July 1, 2020, NBS will no longer offer CMS Word documents, and BIMdrive software support will be discontinued. Existing subscriptions will be supported until their expiry date.

Support for NMS Word documents and our SpecMacros for Word editing tools remain unchanged.

NBS Chorus Updated

The NBS development team is working flat out to produce new functions in the new cloud-based specification platform NBS Chorus. NBS Chorus already has full editing capability, quality control and administrative reporting, and integration with BIM models.
