CMS Updated

Digicon has done its annual review of standards in CMS, so to ensure that all sections have current citations, we have replaced all of the technical Divisions (02+)..  Section 01 62 00 has been removed and replaced with new sections 01 23 00 and 01 25 00.  Section 06 46 00 - Wood Trim has been added, and the scope of section 06 48 00 modified completely to new AWMAC standards.  Other sections in Division 06 have been modified to coordinate properly. Related sections in other Divisions have been updated to maintain cross-reference integrity.

MiniSPEC Updated

This quarter, MiniSPEC has had changes performed on wood subjects to current AWMAC standards.  As well, cross references in sections impacted by these changes required updating of sections in Divisions 07, 08, 09, 10, 12, 14.  New section 06 40 10 - Architectural Woodwork has been created, to specify to AWMAC standards.  Seciton 06 11 10 - Wood Framing was deleted and replaced with Section 06 10 10 - Rough Carpentry.  Finally, section 06 20 10 and 06 41 10 (previously 06 41 15) were updated to parallel changes to equivalent CMS sections.

BIMdrive 5.0.4

BIMdrive 5.0.4 is the current version of BIMdrive.  BIMdrive subscribers are strongly encouraged to update to the latest version.

Save Time and Improve Accuracy

You don't need to be using Revit to take advantages of BIMdrive's BIM functions.  BIMdrive enables users to identify what building materials they wish to specify using a checkbox interface, and BIMdrive automatically assembles the relevant paragraphs. The ability to construct and modify the content of the specification this way can result in significant time savings in the preparation and evolution of the project specification process.
