'Dominican Sisters of Peace Welcome New Novice While Two Sisters Make Vows'

"The Dominican Sisters of Peace welcomed three sisters to new stages on their journey to Final Profession at the Congregation’s July Assembly. Phuong Thuy Vu has been accepted into the Congregation as a Novice after two years of discernment and preparation as a Candidate.” Also, “[n]ewly-welcomed Sisters Ana Gonzalez and Margaret Uche both made their Temporary Vows."

'Sister Katherine Frazier, OP, Professes First Vows as an Adrian Dominican Sister'
On August 5, 2018, Sister Katherine Frazier, OP, made her First Profession of Vows "in St. Catherine Chapel, which was packed with Adrian Dominican Sisters and Associates, Dominican Sisters from other Congregations, family members, and friends."
Dominican Sister of San Rafael and Artist, Joanne Cullimore, OP, Paints Image in Response to the Crisis of Children Being Separated from their Parents
"In seeking ways to respond to the crisis of children being separated from their parents at the southern border, San Rafael Dominican sister and artist, Joanne Cullimore, OP painted an image and added a prayer in Spanish. It is a modern-day retablo, an artistic expression she is familiar with from many years of painting trips she took to Mexico, New Mexico and other parts of the southwestern U.S."

Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt 'Celebrate Feast of St. Dominic and Associate First Commitment and Renewals'
On Sunday, August 5, 2018, the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Blauvelt, New York, along with "Associates, families, and friends came together in Blauvelt to [celebrate the Feast of Saint Dominic and] witness the Associate First Commitment of Maureen O’Dwyer Zeiss, as well as the Commitment Renewals of Darlyne Lawson and Joan Crinnian."
Dominican Sisters of Caldwell: 'Celebrating Our Dominican Journey'
