From August 14-19, 2016, Sinsinawa Mound will hold an Icon Retreat. The retreat will be led by Drazen Dupor and will explore “the history of iconography, the origin of icon writing, the first and most famous icon writers and the difference between wooden board and wall icons.” Registration deadline is August 5. |

From July 15-17, 2016, the Blauvelt Dominican Sisters and Maryknoll Sisters of St. Dominic, Inc. gathered at Maryknoll. “The primary purpose of the weekend was to provide opportunities for sisters in temporary profession to get to know one another” and “provided an important forum where significant sharing and collaboration between the two Dominican Congregations happened.” |

Summertime and Sisters’ Jubilees

This summer, many Dominican sisters across the United States have celebrated anniversaries of profession as vowed women religious.
